Botanical Bakeshop Fundraiser

Meet Botanical Bakeshop, the new Filipino-owned pastry and plant collective located in the Woodstock neighborhood of Portland.

The Botanical Bakeshop is the first co-venture from two beloved BIPOC and women-owned retail businesses—Daphne's Botanicals and Shop Halo Halo, and the opening of the shop will mark their first brick and mortar together. 

Come celebrate and support the fundraiser on June 10th from from 11am-7pm! You will:

• Enjoy free mimosas from 11am-2pm with a Shop Halo Halo dessert purchase
• Decorate cupcakes with Geleen
• Build a mini plant paradise at Daphne's Botanicals Terrarium Bar
• Purchase tickets for a raffle of prizes including (winners will be announced at the end of the day!)
• Learn about favorite common houseplants that originate in the Philippines with Daphne Peters

Botanical Bakeshop is located at 4981 SE Woodstock Blvd

On one side of the shop, visitors will find Daphne's Botanicals, a houseplant design service and shop overflowing with greenery and gifts, founded by Daphne Peters. On the other side, Shop Halo Halo by Geleen Abenoja sells specialized baked goods and desserts featuring Filipino and Asian-Pacific flavors. Halo-Halo, from the Tagalog word, “halo,” (pronounced "hah-loh") means "mix,” and is also a Filipino shaved ice dessert that showcases a variety of sweet offerings which come together effortlessly.

While the Botanical Bakeshop's grand opening is set for July 15th, Portlanders have a chance to celebrate and support Shop Halo Halo's remaining financial needs at a Botanical Bakeshop Fundraiser on Saturday, June 10th, from 11am-7pm. Join us for a plant-and-pastry party in Woodstock to raise the remaining money needed for Shop Halo Halo's oven—one of the last remaining expenses before Botanical Bakeshop can officially open their doors for all this July!
