It's time to officially say goodbye (for now) to Daphne's Botanicals.

Retail is HARD! Owning a brick-and-mortar is not easy, especially in today's times. To make it work, I needed to be giving it my full undivided attention... which started being a struggle as a mom AND launching our plant care business, PlantDoc.

I am super proud to have tried it though, and I consider my story to be a successful one because of that. I didn't want to be somebody who just talked about the dream of having a plant shop - I wanted to actually do it. And I couldn't have done it without the support of my family and friends who came from near and far.

I think what I will miss most - and I do mean this honestly - is the community. I've had amazing vendors to work with, but also customers - both regulars and newbies. The daily small interactions are what made me the most happy. People just want to hold a little bit of happiness in their hands and plants are an easy and tangible way to help people find that.
