Daphne’s Botanicals x The Trash Witch - Earth Day Trash Art Workshop

Have you ever wished there was something else you could do with your plastic besides throw it away? Do you hang on to every single plastic bag you’ve ever gotten? This is the event for you! In honor of Earth Day, we’re partnering with local Trash Artist/Materials Management Enthusiast The Trash Witch to bring you a creative, eco-friendly approach to your garbage. Join us on Tuesday, April 29th from 5pm-7pm at Daphne’s Botanicals (4981 SE Woodstock Blvd, Unit 001, Portland, OR 97206) to learn how to turn your trash into your treasure! Participants will go on a short walk around the neighborhood to collect trash (help the earth AND gain art supplies! Gloves provided), learn fun facts about trash, and make wallets/pouches out of plastic. Participants are encouraged to bring in any soft, flexible plastic such as plastic bags, bubble wrap, etc. (colors encouraged!!), but materials will also be provided. In order to pay our incredible artist, tickets for this event are $30 - but be one of the first three people to register and participate for $20! See you there!
